This comprehensive Notary Public course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of becoming a California Notary Public while preparing you for the official California Notary Public Exam offered the same day. The course breaks down the official California Notary Public Handbook into clear, easy to follow step by step instruction. Practice quizzes and a pre test review are included throughout the training to help reinforce key concepts, build confidence, and improve comprehension before taking the state exam. During the session, you will learn the essential information needed to pass the exam and properly perform your duties as a California Notary Public. Topics include notarial laws, proper procedures, certificate requirements, journal practices, identification guidelines, and common mistakes to avoid. At the conclusion of the course, students will take the official state exam onsite. Important Exam Information: Students must bring a valid photo ID along with a separate check or money order for $40.00 payable to the Secretary of State for the state exam fee. The State does not accept cash or credit card payments for the exam.
